Every page, checked
Titles, descriptions, headings, mobile rendering, broken links, redirects, duplicate and thin content, images, canonical tags, and whether search engines can reach and index each page.
Merchant intelligence
Not because the work is bad. Because a page is missing a title, a link points at a placeholder nobody filled in, or the machine-readable facts a search engine needs were never written. Small, specific, fixable things. Somebody has to look.
Send your website address. If the site is already in good shape I will tell you so, and that costs you nothing.
What you get
01
Titles, descriptions, headings, mobile rendering, broken links, redirects, duplicate and thin content, images, canonical tags, and whether search engines can reach and index each page.
02
Every item names what is wrong, exactly which pages carry it, and what it is costing you in visibility. Ordered by what matters most, not alphabetically.
03
Where you sit in the local map results for the searches that matter, who ranks above you, and what the sites above yours are doing that yours is not.
04
Whether Google and AI assistants can read your hours, address, services, and service area without guessing, and which of those facts your site never states.
05
Read the list and send me anything that is unclear, and I answer it. Everything stays in writing, and your developer is welcome to write to me as well.
Not included
The report names every problem and what it costs you. It does not contain the code or the steps. The work is a separate job, and the $250 comes off it if you book within thirty days of delivery.
What I will not do
No estimate of traffic lost, revenue lost, or how far you would climb. Nobody can measure those from a crawl, and a number nobody can check is there only to justify the price being asked.
Anyone promising a position is either guessing or lying. What I can promise is that every problem on the list is real, and that you can reproduce it on your own site in about ten minutes.
If a site is in good shape I say so, including the parts that are already right, so nobody bills you to fix them. A short list is a good outcome.
One review, one fee, and the document is yours to hand to whichever developer you like. If you want the fixes done as well, that is quoted separately once we both know the list.
Who does the work
Jonathan Froiland. Not a reseller running your domain through a report tool and mailing you the PDF. The crawl gathers the raw data, and then a person reads it, checks each finding against your live site, and throws out anything the tool got wrong.
MERCHINT is the wider project behind it: a map of local commerce built to work out which businesses the web cannot see. The review is that research pointed at one business.
Send me the address of your site and I will tell you whether a review is worth your money. I would rather turn down the job than take $250 for a short list of nothing much.
I read everything that comes in and I answer the same day.
